Holcim US Unites Legacy Brands in Louisiana

  • Company expands Holcim identity in Louisiana following Cajun Ready Mix acquisition, unifying some of the state’s most trusted brands in the building sector
  • New milestone in Holcim’s transformation to be the U.S. leader in innovative and sustainable building solutions

New Orleans, La., November 15, 2022  – Holcim US, the leader in sustainable building solutions, announced today plans to unite its legacy brands in Louisiana. The statewide rebrand will advance Holcim’s innovative ideas to build progress for people in the Pelican State, while maintaining the existing teams and products responsible for unmatched customer satisfaction

A trusted partner in New Orleans and Baton Rouge, serving the greater Louisiana area, Holcim’s regional-based legacy brands include Lafarge and Cajun Ready Mix with operations spanning concrete, aggregates and cement. 

“Following the acquisition of Cajun Ready Mix, and focus on adding strategic partners to our existing operations in Louisiana, the plan is to now bring our regional brands together,” said Rick Pucci, Head, Southern Region, Holcim US. “By uniting these brands as Holcim we can build on the market strength of each and streamline the company’s collective work as a sustainable builder of progress. Operations at each of the locations will continue to provide the same level of quality service and products customers have come to expect over the years, now under the Holcim name.”

The transition follows the Holcim US rebrand that launched in March of this year followed by subsequent regional transitions in Texas and Colorado. Uniting these brands as Holcim builds on the market strength of each, contributes to the company’s ongoing initiatives to lead with sustainability in all facets of its operations and streamlines its collective work as a sustainable builder of progress.
